About quartz

Consistent color,
no upkeep.

Quartz countertops are about 90 percent ground natural quartz bound with resin and pigment. The result is a dense, non-porous surface that resists stains without sealing and arrives in the exact color and pattern you chose from the sample.

Because it is made rather than quarried, quartz is the easiest stone to plan around: what you see in the showroom is what lands in your kitchen, and seams on light, low-movement colors nearly disappear.

Quartz care

Quartz care
is mostly nothing.

There is no sealing schedule and no special cleaner. The few habits below are about heat and sun.

01

Clean with soap and water

Any mild, non-abrasive cleaner is fine. Skip bleach and oven cleaner.

02

Use trivets for hot pans

The resin binder can discolor under direct, sustained heat.

03

Keep it out of direct sun

UV can yellow lighter colors over years, so quartz stays indoors.

04

Wipe spills when you see them

Nothing soaks in, but dried turmeric or dye can take scrubbing.
